Growing up, one of my many aspirations was to become a magician, but I could never resist the urge to reveal the inner workings of my tricks…
Fortunately this tendency would eventually lead me to my true calling – teaching. I soon discovered that the essence of teaching lies in demystifying the complex and that the art of teaching is its own kind of magic… Now, when I’m not freelancing as a character designer, I’m a teacher specialized in visual development and traditional drawing animation, and I have had the privilege of sharing my knowledge with students of all ages in schools, universities, and through engaging workshops for eager children in libraries and at animation festivals. I find immense joy in guiding students towards the creation of authentic characters, fostering the art of compelling storytelling and bringing their characters to life trough drawing animation –
– which is absolutely magical, if you ask me!
